Cordelia is a true Parisian. Saint Germain des Prés and Cordelia have a true love story, especially because they have a lot in common. Once famous for the literature the area gave birth to, a fresh wind has swept in the young and hip from all over Paris. Music, gastronomy, literature, fashion, design, art … everything happen’s here! After studying fashion at Esmod Paris where she focused on designing women's clothes and underwear, she became a production assistant for Issey Miyake while simultaneously freelancing for other brands. Not unlike many designers, Cordelia is always looking for sources of inspiration through exhibitions, new photographers, painters, and musicians. Sensible with a taste for the colorful, she finds that life without art is downright boring.
Creative. Delicate. Spontaneous.
In the morning, “baguette” or “croissant”?Rather "dessert " since my first meal is usually a Chocolate Eclair, Coffee Religieuse and of course a lot of macarons with as many flavours as possible. As you should know, Paris is the best place on earth for pastries.
Favorite French expression(s)?C’est la vie, Buffy.
Give me a trick to make a Parisian waiter smile?« Hey, you just served me, this is crazy but here’s my number, so call me maybe » or « May I have a coke and your number please ? »
Favorite “Apero” spot?Definitely the Bagatelle park! This secret garden designed as a private place for queen Marie-Antoinette is absolutely beautiful and amazing. Quite unimaginable for something so close to Paris. You can hang out among the flowers or just share a drink with some of the peacocks who roam the grounds. “Disagreeing” is A philosophy in France. Do you agree with that ?
I totally disagree.
Burgundy or Bordeaux?A glass of Burgundy with a huge tray of different cheeses. So yummy What’s your favorite place in France? Outside Paris of course.
Bretagne. Grab your yellow raincoat with a pair of matching rain boots go mussels and crabs fishing. It's all very reminiscent of my childhood. Not very sexy, but so fun.
