Our family tour guides are not only experts on the fascinating history of Paris and its people but on keeping the whole family engaged and entertained! Our select team of guides varies from graphic designers and street art specialists to history fanatics and culture vultures, and they have ingenious pedagogic techniques to pace the tour & ensure no children will be left bored! Whether your young explorers are after tales of palaces, kings and queens or dungeons, ghosts and ghouls, our family tour experts are skilled at adapting each tour to its audience. Let your children be the actors of their own experience, you'll be surprised how much knowledge they can handle!
You’ll meet your local Paris expert on the Pont Neuf, an old stone bridge with a fascinating history that has spanned over four centuries! After a fun and lively introduction to get the kids in the mood for their exploration, game booklets will be handed out to the younger ones in the group and you’ll be ready to dive into your Paris adventure.
After learning an array of exciting facts about the bridge and the River Seine that flows beneath, it’ll be time to meet Mr. Henri IV, one of the great kings of France (who was quite a character to say the least!). You’ll then stroll along the banks of the river Seine on your way to the Louvre Museum courtyard to learn its deepest darkest secrets and once again touch on the life and times of the medieval kings and queens who once inhabited this majestic palace. Each child’s booklet will help engage and inspire them along the way as they solve puzzles, riddles, and even try their hand at working out a bit of Egyptian hieroglyphics.
Time to play! Your family will then discover the majestic glass pyramid of the museum’s courtyard before moving onto the playful artwork of the Palais Royal, Napoléon’s triumphant archway and Queen Catherine’s vast royal Jardin des Tuileries. Your guide will help point out all the great details and curiosities that you might have missed along the way, revealing all the quirky and playful secrets of the City of Light.
Unfortunately, the fun can’t last forever, so your tour will finish up at the Tuileries Gardens & Place de la Concorde where the guillotine famously chopped the crowned heads off Marie Antoinette and her royal hubby. This bustling modern intersection is also home to the oldest object in Paris, straight from the Egyptian palace of a real-life pharaoh! What is it? You’ll have to come along to find out!
