The way in which you book the tour depends on its type.
Wander: Just select a date and a time and add the tour to your basket! You’ll be able to pay directly.
Signature: Select a date and a time and send an enquiry - as these are private tours, they require confirmation on our end before accepting your payment! Once we’ve confirmed, we’ll send you a payment link and your tour will be booked!
Journey: If you’re interested in booking a Journey, select the template that’s best for you, and select the dates you’d be booking for, and we’ll get in touch with you to start tailoring your Journey to your specific needs! The template doesn’t need to correspond to the journey you want - just select what’s closest and we’ll modify everything accordingly! We will ask you, however, to pay a non-refundable 500€ deposit once we’re able to provide you an initial quote for the journey, which will be deducted from the total journey cost once it is completed.
Of course! As soon as you see a tour that interests you, add it to your basket and continue browsing, adding as many tours to your shopping basket as you like. Once you’ve made your choice, just reserve them all at once.
We suggest you book anywhere from 6 to 12 weeks in advance to maximize the availability of the tours. Our popular tours fill up quickly, some others only allow a small group size, and some are available for private groups only, so we encourage you to book as soon as you have a date in mind.
You can cancel a tour up to 72 hours before its departure for a full refund. Any cancellation made less than 72 hours before the departure date will unfortunately result in the loss of 100% of your reservation price. All cancellations must be sent by email to the following address: email@example.com
You can add or withdraw participants for each reservation, as long as you notify us by email at least 48 hours before the tour's departure. Adding participants is subject to tickets availabilities and will be limited to the maximum number of participants per tour. You will be charged or refunded accordingly. If participants are withdrawn less than 48 hours before departure time, no refunds will be given.
In the event that circumstances outside of our control force us to cancel a tour (unexpected closings, natural or human disasters), we will unfortunately be unable to refund you. However, if a tour is cancelled for any reason that falls under our responsibility (a guide's absence, sickness, reservation mistakes…), we will refund you 100% of the amount spent within 10 business days, or we can try to reschedule your tour if you wish.
Once your payment has gone through, you will automatically receive an email confirming the transaction.
Once your purchase is complete and that we have assigned a guide, you'll receive a confirmation voucher with your booking number and the information you need regarding your tour. This voucher also serves as your receipt. The day before your tour, you will receive your guide’s contact details.
If you lose your receipt, contact our customer service so we can issue you a new one. It's very important that you arrive at the tour with your booking number in order to identify yourself.
Many of our tours can be organized at the last-minute, however to avoid disappointment and to ensure that you are able to take the tour of your choice on the day of your choice, we do encourage you to book as far in advance as possible.

We always give a very precise and easy-to-find meeting point. Moreover, your guide will be wearing a badge with the Localers logo on it. You can’t miss it!
In order for your tour to depart at the correct time, we ask you to ensure that you arrive 10 minutes early. If you are going to be late, we kindly ask that you call your guide on the mobile number provided on your confirmation voucher.
If your guide hasn't arrived by the departure time, or if you're having trouble finding them, please call our customer service team on the number provided on your voucher.
We offer a range of tours specifically designed for families with children and teenagers, suitable for all ages. If you'd like to join a regular private tour, our guide will of course adapt to the group's constraints to guarantee the ideal family experience, but keep in mind that a tour involves a lot of walking. To join a small group tour, we strongly suggest that each participant be at least 8 years old.
We like to keep it small to offer a truly personalized experience!
In most cases we can organist tours for private groups larger than the maximum group sizes stated on our website, with some exceptions – please contact us for further details.
Our tours are generally walking only. On some tours, we include transportations. Please refer to the inclusions for each tour.
Wander tours are small group tours, where you will be joined by a couple of other people having booked the same time slot. Signature tours are private tours, where you book as a group, which can be of any size, even just a single person, and you will not be joined by any other travelers. All Wander tours are also available as Signature tours
If you are going to be late, we kindly ask that you call our customer service team on the number provided on your confirmation voucher. For private tours, your guide will wait up to 30 minutes after the departure time. Group tours will depart no more than 5 minutes after the departure time to avoid inconveniencing the other participants.
If your tour starts late because you did not arrive on time, the duration of your tour may be shortened in order to finish at the scheduled time. This is because occasionally our guides will have other obligations that will not allow him/her to stay longer. However if the tour doesn’t start on time because your guide has arrived late, he/she will always provide you with the full duration of your tour.
All tours will proceed as scheduled regardless of weather conditions, though your guide will do his/her best to adapt the itinerary to make your tour as comfortable as possible.
If there is anything you are unhappy with during your tour, don’t hesitate to let us know. You can contact us directly, or include your comments in the feedback form that will be sent to you after you’ve taken your tour. And don’t forget, positive feedback is welcome as well! We mainly operate in English, although we work with a multilingual team of guides and are happy to accommodate your wishes where possible.

A VAT rate of 20% is included in all our prices. Unfortunately you will not be able to re-claim the VAT, as our offers are considered as services as opposed to consumer goods.
All bookings on our site are processed in Euros (€). If your country’s currency is not Euros, your bank will automatically convert the price to your country’s currency when you are charged.
Firstly, please make sure that you have correctly filled out your personal details and credit card information. Otherwise, your transaction may have been temporarily blocked by your bank as a fraud prevention method. We advise you to contact your bank as soon as possible in order to resolve the issue. If the payment is declined, we suggest that you contact your bank directly. It is common for banks to block outgoing international transactions in an attempt to prevent fraud. We work with a large team of guides, however not all of them may be available during your travel dates; therefore we cannot guarantee the ability to assign a specific guide to your tour. However, we will always do our best to prioritize your chosen guide.
